Florida’s The Everymen, have announced that they will release their upcoming album ‘May Your Ashes Have Stories To Tell” on May 17th through Say 10 Records.
We’re excited to premiere a new song called “Time” off the album.
Sergio (aka Captain Bobo) had this to say about the song:
I constantly reflect on my past, and think about times where either me or those around me have made mistakes that we can’t ever make right again, at least not within our development of becoming a better version of ourselves. This song was developed during a time where someone I know was struggling with life, and someone said to him “time will heal all wounds”, and I thought that comment was so cliché so I wrote a song to captivate my idea that time has never completely healed my wounds. In fact depending on the choices I’ve made after receiving those scars, time could actually manifest that pain into something much more devastating. I wanted to describe that the only way time could change my life is if I allowed every bad situation to become a chance for growth. Being someone who thinks with their emotions I have to be aware that my feelings aren’t always the facts, and that my perception is always a little blurry.
