Long-running New York rock steady/ska/ reggae/jazz legends THE SLACKERS brought their Fall 2016 tour through Chicago, Illinois’s 1st Ward at Chop Shop last month, bringing along Gainesville skameisters Duppies, Indianapolis’s smooth rocking Circle City Deacons and local ska punkers Run and Punch to round out the long 4-ska-band bill. Working through almost two hours of classics, Vic and company kept the crowd moving nonstop as they crooned and tooted.
