With only a few days until the release of their 10th studio album on DC-Jam Records, All The Young Droogs, UK punk legends, The Adicts, have been forced to cancel their upcoming Brazilian tour, because of difficulties with local promoters.
The tour, which was to take the band to Sao Paulo, Porto Alegra and Curtiba, was unexpectedly canceled by the Brazilian promoter for specific reasons unknown to the band. The Adicts U.S. tour kicked off yesterday and will continue as scheduled.
“It’s with great sadness that our upcoming tour of Brazil was canceled for reasons that are out of our control. Contrary to anything else you may have heard, the band is ready, willing and able to do the tour, and we were looking forward to performing for our friends in Brazil, especially with the new album coming out on Tuesday. We appreciate all of the support our Brazilian fans have shown us over our 35 year career and will do everything possible to make this up to them.” – The Adicts
