Kill Lincoln and Tomahawk Chop have teamed up with Jump Start Records to digitally re-release their latest EPs as well as begin work on their upcoming full-length releases due out in Spring 2013!
You may remember Kill Lincoln from the free digital sampler, 2 Sugar Sampler, Volume 3, that we released back on Christmas morning 2011 with their super catchy ska-punk track “Clark Gable”. That track was taken from the band’s You Were There EP that was self-released but will now see wider digital distribution through Jump Start. If you haven’t had a chance to check out this Washington DC six-piece ska-punk outfit this is your chance, and is highly recommened if you’re a fan of bands like Less Than Jake, Mad Caddies, or MU330.
You Were There will be available through iTunes, eMusic, and other online digital retailers on September 4th, but you can check it out right now over at the Jump Start Bandcamp page and pick up a digital copy for only $3!
Kill Lincoln was slated to release a brand new EP, That’s Cool…In a Totally Negative and Destructive Way, but have since decided to release that as brand new full-length through Jump Start in the Spring of 2013. You can check out two tracks from That’s Cool… over on the Jump Start Bandcamp page right now!
Tomahawk Chop is a four-piece melodic punk band from Long Island that features members of Broadcaster. (What’s up Tom Kelly?) They self-released the EP Another Summer Lost last year and are working on a new full-length released that we’re looking to release in late-Spring/early-Summer of 2013. Another Summer Lost will also be released digitally through Jump Start on September 4th, but you can check it out and download it directly through Jump Start from their Bandcamp page right now.
We’re super stoked to have the guys from Kill Lincoln and Tomahawk Chop on board and can’t wait to get some more new music from these guys in your hands very soon! – Jeremy, Kevin, and Alec at Jump Start
